But if you’re ever trying to figure out something in particular, most farmers’ markets with well-developed websites have either their own resource or a link to resources on the topic. You might have to look around a little to be sure you catch regional variations in what the markets want to include in their lists, but you can usually find something. 

I find that supermarket produce—if you buy from the bins and not the pre-packaged bundles—lasts roughly the same amount of time as market produce. Produce from bodegas and convenience stores typically has a shorter shelf-life because it tends to have been stored longer before it reaches those outlets.
